LAKE ALGONQUIN in WELLS, NY is located on NYS RT. 30 approximately 40 miles north of Amsterdam. From I 90, take exit 27, then go north on Rt. 30. From NYS Rts. 5 & 5S & 29, turn right (north) onto Rt 30.From the west you can take exit 28 off I90, or follow Rts 5 or 5S to NYS Rt. 30A north thru Johnstown. After about 8 miles, Rt. 30A connects to NYS Rt. 30. Go north on Rt. 30 and continue on to Wells. In Wells, look for a church on your right. Registration is held in the Ambulance Corps building behind the church.
CAROGA LAKE is on NYS Rt. 10/29A approximately 12 miles north of Johnstown/Gloversville. If you are coming from the east, take exit 27 off I-90, or take Rt 5 or 5S to Rt. 30 North. Continue north thru Amsterdam on Rt. 30 to NYS Rt.29. Turn left onto 29 West for approximately 1 ½ miles. Turn right onto NYS Rt. 29A. Look for “Aging Still” on right and a golf course on the left. (If you passed “The White Holland House”, you went too far.) Stay on Rt.29A through Gloversville to Caroga Lake. Registration is held at Vroomans Hotel in downtown Caroga Lake.
From the west, take exit 28 off I-90, or Rts 5 & 5S, to Rt. 30A North to Johnstown. Turn left on to NYS Rt.67 by the Chevrolet/Cadillac dealer. Rt. 67 runs into Rt. 29 at Main St. Continue west three blocks, Rt. 29 turns right by the park and the court house. Follow Rt. 29 west for about 6 miles, turn onto Rt. 10A which runs into Rt. 10 after a couple miles. Keep right onto 10, follow to Caroga Lake. To take an alternate route from the west, take exit 29 off I-90 or Rts 5&5S to Rt. 10 north to Caroga.
SUMMIT LAKE is located in Summit NY on NYS Rt.10 South. From I88 or Rt. 7, take the Richmondville exit, approximately 5 miles west of Cobleskill. Go south on Rt. 10 after the four-way stop and continue up the long hill to Summit. The lake is on your left. Take a left on County Rt. 20 to the lake. We usually park and register at the Lake View Restaurant before going on to the lake.
CANADARAGO LAKE is south of Richfield Springs which is located on Rt.20.
From the East-take state route 20 west into Richfield Springs, at the main four corners in the center of the village turn left onto LAKE STREET, go about 1/4 mile to the Schuyler House which is on the left, Big white building, there is a large sign in front, can't miss it. If the parking lot is full there is plenty of extra parking right across the street. After we register the best way is to go straight out of the parking lot and enter BRONNER St., take that to the end ,about 1/2 mile, it comes to a TEE, turn left onto state rt. 28 south, once you're on Rt. 28 south go about 2.5 miles until you see the sign for CANADARAGO
WARNERS LAKE is in East Berne NY just north of Rt. 443 at the intersection of Rt.157A. The lake is
south/southwest of Albany about 5 miles west of Thatcher State Park. Since there are many alternate routes to the lake, it is best to call someone in your area for directions.
ROUND LAKE is located off of Exit 11 on I-87 (Adirondack Northway). Coming from the south (Albany) you will take a right at the end of the ramp, coming from the north (Saratoga) you will take a left at the end of the ramp. Proceed through the village of Round Lake about 1 mile till you come to the intersection with Rt. 9. Take a right on Rt.9 (south) and then look on your left at the lake for the boat launch for access onto the lake.
LAKE GEORGE is located off of Exit 21 on I-87 (Adirondack Northway). Turn right at the bottom of the ramp towards Rt. 9. At the light take a left heading north on Rt. 9 and look for the Prospect Mtn. Diner on your left about a half mile down the road. Registration is held there. Coming out of that parking lot you will want to again turn left going north on Rt. 9. Go about a tenth of a mile and turn right onto W. Brook Rd. Follow that to the end and then turn right onto Beach Rd. Go about 300 ft. and you will see a entrance on your left to the Million Dollar Beach parking lot which is where the entrance onto the ice is located.
COSSAYUNA LAKE
is
the red star in the middle of the map below. Look on the map for Greenwich,
northeast of Saratoga..........From the corners of route 29 and 40 (Carmody
Ford is on the corner) go north on 40 for 5.9 miles to South Argyle. Take a
right on Rt. 338 ( according to map below) or it might have signs that say
County Route 49. Go 3 miles take a left on County Route 48 (also known as Lake
Road, There is a Restaurant on the corner called Quackups) Go about 2 miles on
Lake Road to the Cossayuna Fire house on the left. That's where we usually
register but double check the Latest News page for any changes. Do not block
the fire house doors.
We get onto the lake by taking a left out of the fire house go north on Lake
Road until you get to east Lake Road on your right. Take that around the lake
to White Lane Take a right on White Lane and then take a right onto the Boat
launch road.

This lower map shows you the way once you get on Rt. 40 heading north out of Greewich, NY. Be sure to turn right on Rt. 338 or it might have signs that say Rt.49, and then a left on County Hwy. 48 as you approach the lake.
